3 months old : Milaca Children's Photographer :

Wow! It's been a LONG time since the last time I've blogged! The least I can say is I am embarrassed!
It was an INSANE 2011 Fall for JD Creations Photography & Design and I am FINALLY coming up for some air.
Just to give you an idea of how long it's been since my last blog post, the beautiful mom-to-be I had blogged about back in September now has another beautiful daughter and I am now blogging about our SECOND session together! Wow! Time flies!

    Jessica, you do such an amazing job of capturing the pure and simple beauty in all of your photos. Mallery's session worried me because she wouldn't smile, but the pictures you created out of her simple expressions are absolutely amazing!! Thank you for all of the beautiful memories that you have given to my family through your photos!!

Fun story about Cheyenne: I had the opportunity to meet and work for her mom 20 (yes 20) years ago! To say that I was excited to hear from them again was an understatement! Things have changed just a little since the last time I saw Cheyenne! She has grown into this amazingly sweet and very goal orientated young woman.  I didn't realize how grown up she really was until I started to edit. Wow! So beautiful! : Growing like weeds : Milaca Family Photographer

Hanging with this family is truly like hanging with family. We've been getting together to snap a few pictures since their youngest was an infant. Crazy how quickly time flies! It's the best feeling to meet up with a family each year to see their kids happy and growing like weeds! I would say that is one of the best gifts I've received from this whole photography gig! Here's to another great year with family!

: Family is Everything : Extended Family Session

This is one of the most memorable extended family sessions I've done. Why? Because this family was awesome to work with AND because it was a gift. Shane gifted Melissa with an extended family session for her birthday. The entire session had been booked and scheduled before he even told her about it! His gesture was so thoughtful. And then to get to know them as a couple... You can just see how much he adores her.  Happy Belated Birthday Melissa! And thanks Shane for contacting me! It was an honor to work with such a great family!
