: You & Me Make a Family : St. Cloud Family Photographer

I had the opportunity to meet this family last year during our first session together. All I can say is what a fun crew! I was THRILLED when Rachel contact me again to do a session this summer. It was a good opportunity to get to know all of them better. I especially enjoyed my time with their four children. Each with such a unique personality. The girls - beautiful and so reserved. The boys - insanely curious, outgoing, and busy. A perfect description of childhood.

As I was going through our session, each image made me smile a bit more. Whether it was the shot of the four kids all together just being kids or the few I got of Mom and Dad (even though they resisted).

It was just an all-around wonderful evening spent with a wonderful family! Thank you Rachel and Luke for the opportunity (again) to capture your beautiful family. It was an honor.

Fun story about Cheyenne: I had the opportunity to meet and work for her mom 20 (yes 20) years ago! To say that I was excited to hear from them again was an understatement! Things have changed just a little since the last time I saw Cheyenne! She has grown into this amazingly sweet and very goal orientated young woman.  I didn't realize how grown up she really was until I started to edit. Wow! So beautiful! : Growing like weeds : Milaca Family Photographer

Hanging with this family is truly like hanging with family. We've been getting together to snap a few pictures since their youngest was an infant. Crazy how quickly time flies! It's the best feeling to meet up with a family each year to see their kids happy and growing like weeds! I would say that is one of the best gifts I've received from this whole photography gig! Here's to another great year with family!

: Family is Everything : Extended Family Session

This is one of the most memorable extended family sessions I've done. Why? Because this family was awesome to work with AND because it was a gift. Shane gifted Melissa with an extended family session for her birthday. The entire session had been booked and scheduled before he even told her about it! His gesture was so thoughtful. And then to get to know them as a couple... You can just see how much he adores her.  Happy Belated Birthday Melissa! And thanks Shane for contacting me! It was an honor to work with such a great family!
